There are ample opportunities to see a BVTLive! band perform before booking them! We offer high quality promo videos as well as live wedding videos to all of our clients for a chance to see each band perform and interact with crowds. We also host bi-weekly live wedding band showcases where 4-5 of our dance bands perform for the opportunity for newly engaged couples to see their future wedding band perform live!  BVTLive! also loves having clients in office for in-office consults where we can ewatch promo videos and discuss our Philadelphia wedding bands together! 

Once you decide to move forward with your dream BVTLive! wedding or dance band, we email an electronic contract that we ask you to sign digitally.  We also invoice you for your first payment for reservation and administration.  Your balance is due two weeks in advance of the performance, and we will invoice you for this as well.  All ACH payments are secure and there is no fee.

The band and DJ pricing depends on a number of factors:  Each ensemble’s fee is unique, based on demand, as well as the date, day of the week, and timing. Other factors include on or off site ceremonies, travel, additional production enhancements etc.   Our luxury wedding and dance bands range  from $7,500 to $18,000.  This includes the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception entertainment. Depending on the timing of your reception, BVTLive! Philadelphia wedding bands play anywhere from 4-5 hours. Our luxury wedding bands perform continuously, taking one break during the dinner portion of your reception but providing continuous live music. A great wedding band would take no more than one break!

The best wedding bands will perform continuously throughout your reception, taking one break during dinner. We suggest the venue coordinator/ planner to feed the band or DJ first before the guests, that way they can eat quickly and get back onstage to perform for the rest of your guests while they enjoy the dinner portion of the reception. If this is not possible, a BVTLive! band will provide continuous live music,  staggering breaks for individual band members during the main course when people are least likely to be dancing.

With today’s technology, we don’t need much power for our wedding bands and instruments. We ask for typically three dedicated 20 AMP circuits at 110 voltage, dependent on venue size!

This can greatly depends on the type of songs chosen, as well as the medleys and client preferences, but typically we ask people to choose 60-70 songs on each band’s song list. 

All BVTLive!’s bands are willing to learn new songs.  For weddings, if we don’t already know the songs and they aren’t on the song list, we will learn your first dance and special dance songs, as well as your intro song.

Not only do our bands perform through state of the art sound systems but a highly trained and experienced sound technician is there to ensure great sound at a suitable volume.  Basic stage lighting is provided.  Upgrades in both areas are available at additional cost.

All of our musicians dress in formal, coordinated attire unless otherwise discussed prior to the event.

BVTLive! can provide customized ceremonies, as well as live music for brunches, rehearsal dinners, after parties, and any other element of your wedding weekend that would benefit from live performances.

Yes. All BVTLive! bands have at least a one million dollar liability policy. Proof of insurance certificates are available upon request.

We prefer ACH payments, or checks, as it helps us offer better pricing (without credit card fees).
However, we can accept a major credit card, but there is an additional fee of 3 to 3.5% that would be charged.
