My sister had Eddie play at her wedding in 2012...from the very first dance of the night to the last song, I knew when I had my own wedding, I just HAD to have this band play - EVERYONE was on the dance floor all night, I mean EVERYONE. At my wedding, Eddie did another beyond amazing job - he played every song we wanted and the variety of music he and his band play kept everyone moving and shaking for hours. Eddie really takes control of the entire night and makes sure everything runs smoothly and perfectly - as it did! He has the entire night planned out and working with him really ensured the wedding night would be perfect. I usually don't take the time to write reviews, but felt like I HAD to share how awesome the Eddie Bruce Band is - HIGHLY recommend him for weddings and really any other event...he is the best around!!!!

I am not a dancer. However, from the moment Eddie Bruce and his band started to play at my wedding (this past Sunday) I couldn't stop dancing. My feet are still swollen from dancing for 5 hours straight. At one point I found myself jumping around the dance floor in my wedding dress with the biggest smile ever.
These guys are pure gold. Let me be clear here: Eddie & his crew had my 89-year-old grandmother up dancing THE ENTIRE NIGHT. Not only was the entire wedding party dancing -- they were having the time of their life.
As soon as my husband and I started planning our wedding he insisted on having Eddie play. And now I understand why.
Eddie -- you helped to make my wedding the best day of my life!!! We love you guys!

Eddie and the band rocked the house. They played to the crowd and never skipped a beat. We met with Eddie a few weeks prior to our wedding and he had the entire reception mapped out from a timing perspective. And because of that, there wasn't any lapse in the reception. In addition, working with JoAnn was easy. She did the scheduling and made sure things flowed smoothly.

As one guest said at our wedding, "I have never been to a wedding that rocked like this before the salad was served"

From start to finish, this was the greatest day in our lives and Eddie and his band had everything to do with that.

Awesome band, everyone was raving about the music and high energy!! They played an awesome mix of old and new stuff and the dance floor was literally packed the entire evening. The entire band was extremely professional and totally accommodating for any requests we had.

Eddie Bruce and his fabulous band absolutely knocked it out of the ballpark on our wedding day-- we were beyond thrilled! Eddie met with us many months before the wedding to learn about what we were looking for and discuss the ceremony and reception. He had amazing ideas and suggestions and helped us select important songs throughout the evening. On our wedding day, his team provided instrumentals for the ceremony, and then the full band came on for the actual reception. They had everyone up and dancing THE ENTIRE NIGHT! All of our guests were so impressed with the energy and variety of music... Eddie absolutely killed it! We cant thank him enough for being the best wedding band, and for making our wedding go down in history with our friends as the best wedding ever!

You just have to experience it, is really all I can say. Everyone told me that I had the best band and that my wedding was going to be amazing with Eddie Bruce as my band. I didn't know how amazing he was until the band started playing and no one wanted to leave the dance floor. He would literally have to tell people to go sit down and eat their food - everyone just wanted to stay on the dance floor all night. The Eddie Bruce orchestra is truly amazing and you cannot go wrong with having them as your band - you won't regret it!

Eddie Bruce is by far the best band in the city of Philadelphia. There was not a minute of our wedding when the dance floor wasn't crowded. Eddie and his band members certainly know how to run a party. Their talent is outstanding!

The Eddie Bruce Orchestra was spectacular at our wedding; in additional to phenomenal music that got everyone up and dancing and set the tone for a magical night, Eddie Bruce was a pleasure to work with. He orchestrated the entire evening and made sure that every detail of the night was perfect for our event. Eddie made himself available before the event to discuss our preferences and dovetailed the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception to us as a couple. I could not say enough about the band's professionalism and the ease of communicating our needs and having them met (and more). The band is incredible and the voices of its singers are nothing short of incredible (perhaps, at times, even jaw-dropping). We were impressed. This group is a real class act.

All I can say is, at the end of the night our PACKED dance floor requested an ENCORE. I kid you not! Eddie Bruce MADE our wedding. We always knew the band would play a big role in our wedding; after all, we wanted it to be a party! We couldn't have chosen better than Eddie. He has top 40 hits covered, as well as some classic hits - it was the perfect mix and he is fabulous at reading a crowd! My sister is a singer as well, and he was so kind to her when we asked if she could join him for our first dance. He not only shared his stage and band, he put the spotlight on her and let her steal the show. It was truly the perfect night, with the perfect vibe, thanks to Eddie.

Eddie Bruce was instrumental in making our dreams come true on our wedding day. When you book Eddie, you not only get the most experienced and elegant bandleader in the Philadelphia area but a group of musicians and singers who excel at playing all types of music and keeping the dance floor packed and the party rolling all night. During the planning process, Eddie was always available to meet/talk with us and most importantly, he listened carefully to what we wanted from the band and then created the sound and approach that matched our wishes. Eddie’s easy-going approach totally eliminated any stress around band planning. Eddie doesn’t bring a preset agenda to the table, but rather is looking to give you the sound that you want for your special day. For example, we wanted to use a specific and uncommon piece of music for the professional. Eddie embraced the idea and orchestrated it with strings that made it absolutely beautiful. As a true professional, Eddie brought a sophistication that we wanted to run the party. Too often we’ve seen a band that played good music but lacked a leader who could even introduce speakers. Eddie expertly handles those tasks. And the band just brought the house down all night long. We had many people from out of town and they kept saying “who is that band, they are great”. Eddie and band gave us the music we wanted and they played it to perfection. Having Charlene perform with Eddie was just the icing on the cake. She is INCREDIBLE! The dance floor was always full and we had exactly the type of party that wanted for ourselves and for our guests. Needless to say, we are huge fans of Eddie and the band and we highly recommend them.

The band is one of the most important elements of a wedding - at least for me and my husband. A family member had recommended this band, and after listening to some of their clips online, we knew that they would be our band.

It was such a pleasure working with Eddie. He's flexible, responsive, professional, personable, talented and just simply fabulous!

As with most weddings, hiccups do arise. For me, the greatest hiccup was my father becoming very ill and not attending my wedding. Overwhelmed with so many emotions, I was having a difficult time and continuously had to step away from the party. Eddie made several amendments during the reception, so I wouldn't miss the important moments, like toasts, cake cutting, my husband's surprise performance.

Eddie and colleagues know just about every song - with the exception of one. I don't even remember the name of it, but it was one that my mother-in-law came across. No worries. Eddie found the music and learned it!

Eddie also worked with my musician husband. They had a arranged a surprise performance for me -- definitely one of the highlights of my night. I highly recommend Eddie Bruce - I look forward to using him again the near future!
