Eustace Mita, Founder and CEO of ICONA resorts had his eye on the Avalon property formerly known as the Golden Inn for quite some time. Mita wanted beachfront properties that had a spectacular view of the ocean and was very persistent about turning the Golden Inn into one of his luxury hotels. After years of knocking on their door begging them to sell, he got his wish. ICONA brings destination weddings closer to home with their Avalon location. The Ohana Suite is an intimate ballroom that has a semi-private foyer that can be used for cocktail receptions or as a quiet getaway from the event. The Seaglass Ballroom is an elegant space with floor to ceiling windows, chiavari chairs, and a full-service bar. Sea glass can be set to enhance any wedding theme and add the extra special touch to your décor. This ballroom can even connect to their Ohana Suite for an additional 1,600 square footage of space. Their Sandbar Beach Bar & Lounge has contemporary touches to the relaxed beach setting and is perfect for small gatherings. Your wedding will be kissed by the sun and sea at ICONA Avalon.
