There’s nothing quite like the thrill of seeing one of your Philadelphia wedding bands featured in a magazine! We were overjoyed to spot our award-winning band, City Rhythm, in People Magazine, showcasing their performance at the wedding of NFL New York Giants player Jon Runyan Jr. and his wife, Victoria.
Victoria and Jon got married on a stunning July day full of love and sunshine at the Park Chateau Estate and Gardens in New Jersey surrounded by friends and family. The castle like estate made the perfect backdrop for their special day as they were aiming for a “moody vibe” and an Old Hollywood-themed wedding. The newlyweds consider both the Philadelphia and South New Jersey area their home making it the perfect place for all their loved ones to gather for their special day.
City Rhythm Performs Runyan’s Wedding Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Reception
Victoria walked down the aisle in her stunning wedding dress to “Canon in D” and “Turning Page” performed live by BVTLive! band City Rhythm. The wedding was officiated by Victoria’s uncle making the ceremony even more personal and special. After the ceremony Victoria changed into a sparkly Berta party dress while Jon changed into a white custom-made jacket that had photos of the happy couple lining the inside.
Not only did BVTLive! band City Rhythm provide music for the entire wedding day, but our sibling company On It Productions helped Victoria to curate a special surprise for Jon during the cake cutting. On It Productions provided a mariachi band to perform in honor of Jon’s families Mexican Heritage. Jon then decided to surprise Victoria as well by taking the mic and singing her a song in Spanish.
As the reception got into full swing, the newlyweds shared a touching first dance to the heartfelt song “Beyond” by Leon Bridges. This intimate moment set the tone for the rest of the evening, as the celebration continued with City Rhythm bringing their signature flair to the dance floor. The band’s lively mix of songs had guests dancing and enjoying themselves well into the night. The atmosphere was filled with joy and laughter, creating a memorable and magical evening for everyone involved.
